For anyone new here, a few times a month someone on our team takes over our Instagram stories to share their favorite products at the moment. It all started after we created an internal Slack channel called “recommends” where we gave honest opinions and feelings about things we’ve tried.
We went through our insights and found the 17 most shopped products that not only we love but a lot of you do too. A lot of these would make great gifts or stocking stuffers for anyone on your shopping list (plus, almost all of these are on sale).
#1 Charlotte Tilbury—I finally stopped buying other shades of lip stick because I keep going back to this one. I use the shade Pillow Talk and it is the perfect natural color that truly looks good on everyone. Side note: I’m weirdly proud that I’m almost completely out of my first tube (I’ve never fully used a lipstick before haha).
#2 Olaplex Hair Oil—This is the holy grail of hair products. My hair gets so frizzy especially when I wear it natural and this is the only thing I’ve found that works. I especially love it when I’m traveling somewhere humid!
#3 Quince Silk Pillowcase—Swapping my standard pillowcase for a silk one, has changed my skin and hair! So soft and such great quality for the price.
#4 Salty Face Tanning Water—I’ve been loving how this tan looks! I got the light/medium and it’s really subtle but I love how natural it looks. It doesn’t have much of a smell, plus it’s a great natural and acne safe option that makes me feel better about putting self tanner on.
#5 Quince Mongolian Cropped Sweater—I love the quality of sweaters from Quince and think that the deep v is really cute. (I am wearing a M).
#6 Cafe Curtains—I have loved adding these affordable and cute cafe curtains to our kitchen, it’s made the space feel so much brighter while still giving us the privacy we need. I’ll link the hardware here too: cafe curtain rods
#7 Cove Upholstered Dining Chair—We’ve used these chairs in multiple projects and in our own conference room and have loved them. They’re really comfortable and a great way to elevate a dining space.
# 8 Coach Mary Janes—These flats were a Christmas gift from my husband last year, and they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes I own. I am excited to pull them back out for the fall months—a comfortable classic!
#9 The Perfect Gold Ring—My everyday gold ring that is perfect for layering!
#10 Pura Ironwood Scent—This scent is a W Design favorite. It’s musky with notes of vetiver, sandalwood, pepper, and black tea.
#11 Metal Side Table—This $70 amazon find is amazing quality. It’s super heavy duty and I love the silhouette. It’s a great dupe for the Visual Comfort Martini Table that retails for almost $500.
#12 Shiseido Eyelash Curler—I’m not kidding when I say this eyelash curler changed my life. It had been in my cart for awhile and I am sad I waited so long to purchase. 11/10 — no notes.
#13 Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt—I stumbled upon this perfume at Sephora and instantly fell in love! I usually lean towards a more masculine and woodsy scent and this one is a blend of sandalwood and vetiver (two of my favorites!) It’s one of those perfumes that lasts all day and whenever I get a whiff of it, I become more obsessed.
#14 Aerie Sweats—I probably shouldn’t admit this but I wear these sweats almost everyday as soon as I come home. They are soo soft and really thin/lightweight—I ended up buying a bunch of these for gifts this last Christmas and now my friends are hooked too.
#15 Levi’s Trucker Jacket—This is my favorite jacket - I take it on every trip as my light layer option and it’s soft and goes with everything. I sized down (XS) because I wanted a more edited/cropped look but would also be really cute as an oversized jean jacket look.
#16 Canopy Filtered Showerhead—I got this as a gift and it has been incredible. I’m not sure why it took me so long to switch my shower head, but I truly feel like this has made a huge difference in my skin and hair. 100% worth the hype and so easy to install!
#17 Floral Linen Throw Pillow—I’ve been trying to update the pillows on my sectional and I really love the pattern and color of this one from Danielle Oakey Shop—they make great, high quality pillow covers if anyone is in the market. It is a nice floral that doesn’t feel too “cottage grandma” but more “cool grandma”, at least in my opinion haha.
Love these Recs!
