1) How do you want people to feel in your home?
I want people to feel like they can kick their feet up and relax in my home. I hope that it’s an environment that makes people feel safe, loved, and welcomed.
2) Tell us about a meaningful space in your home?
Remodeling my daughter’s room was definitely a labor of love and is such a special space in my home. I wanted it to be full of intention and sentimental touches - I filled it with antiques and added bows for a feminine touch. Adding a bow has now become apart of every room I create and feels like my signature.
3) What is something about your home that other people might not notice but you don’t love?
Something people might not know about my home is that I have a DUNGEON as a basement. Our home was built in 1908 and has a crawl space made of literal dirt walls. Anytime I have trouble with our water heater, furnace, or AC (which is often) I have to dig into our dungeon basement. Another thing about our home that people wouldn’t realize is that we actually don’t have a garage.
4) Current home scent?
Simmer pots - they are my latest addiction and I make them every week! I use apples, cinnamon, oranges, vanilla extract and cloves. So yummy.
Beautiful! Love the colors and details and having a signature touch.
