Marianne's Recommends Pt. 2
my staple products and a few recent finds that I've been loving
Hi! I’m Marianne (@mariannembrown) and I’m the founder and principal designer here at W Design. These are a few of the things I’ve been loving lately.
Water-Resistant Rings - I fell in love with this inexpensive, water-resistant, tarnish-free jewelry brand I found in France when I was there last year. A lot of their rings are adjustable so you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong size, but they aren’t flimsy. (rope ring & diane ring)
Baggu Fanny Pack - I bought this for my daughter and like all Baggu bags, it’s washable, versatile, and so cute. I want it in the Daisy print.
Acrylic Easel - I bought a bunch of these to display my China in my cabinet because just stacking them all doesn’t look as pretty.
Braiding Sweetgrass Book - I haven’t quite finished this book yet, but even in just the first couple of chapters I’ve been moved deeply. Her writing is poetic but not overdone, and she is so wise and has a way of opening my eyes and reframing my world in a way that few can do. It reads like a love-letter to our planet and our history and I’m a better person after reading this.
Drinking Glasses - I know it sounds funny but I bought these glasses for drinking soda - they are more narrow and tall which keeps my drinks bubbly longer, and they are pretty enough to go with my China for holidays. Win-win.
Cian Trousers - The perfect trouser - doesn’t wrinkle, really high quality, and looks great with a belt.
Book Display - I chose the Dark Walnut color - it’s really substantial and adds dimension to your coffee table or console table decor - plus you get to display your favorite book (a great conversation starter).
Wrinkle Releaser - I spray this on and just smooth it with my hands or throw it in my refresh cycle in the dryer.
