We’ve gotten quite a few questions lately about metal finishes (where to use them, how to mix them, etc.) so we decided to dedicate one of our weekly posts to answer some of those questions. When it comes to choosing a metal finish, a lot of it has to do with the style of your home. Some finishes lean more modern, while some lean more traditional (ex. you wouldn’t put a chrome in a country farmhouse). Below we’re sharing 6 different styles of homes + which finishes we would use in each of them—these can apply to any metal finish in a home (bathroom/kitchen faucets, door/cabinet hardware, lighting, appliances, etc.)
