Ask Me Anything

and a little intro for our new subscribers

Whether you’re new here or have been a subscriber for a while, thank you so much for the support. We’ve recently had a lot of new paid subscribers so we wanted to explain why we started our journal hosted on Substack.

At the start of my career, I was big into blogging. I’ve always loved sharing information and educating homeowners. Over time, our blog lost steam and then transformed into more short form content on our Instagram. While we loved our weekly story posts, we really wanted a space that was meant for longer posts. I wanted to use a platform that was a more permanent spot for our content to live that wasn’t Instagram (I have a love hate relationship with that platform). Our hope is that our journal (hosted on Substack) is a reference that you can go back to when you’re needing a resource, shopping for tile, choosing paint colors, etc.

As part of our paid subscriptions, I have been dedicating some time each month to answer questions and will be on our chat again this weekend. I’ve loved the interaction and community that has formed on our chat and love seeing your messages come in.
